Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter, born July 23rd 1970 was an American actor. She was Cordelia Chase in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also appeared in Charmed (2004) as well as Kendall Casablanca's part in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was part of The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada), the daughter of Christine Carpenter who is a bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. She is of Spanish (from the maternal grandfather), French and German descent. Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas; she was also a member of a dance and song group that performed in the Las Vegas Valley when she was just nine years old. old.When Carpenter was 15, her family relocated to Rosario Beach, Baja California, Mexico and then to San Diego, California. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter has traveled throughout Europe following her graduation. When she returned to San Diego, she worked as a store clerk for video as well as an aerobics teacher and also in property management. She was a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football club in the year 1991. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles. She was swimming in San Diego with two male acquaintances when Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist, attacked them. The two of them, Henry Hubbard Jr. and her friends were shot during the battle. Both of them survived. Hubbard was found guilty and sentenced to 56 years prison for a string of rapes, thefts. Carpenter took Hubbard's police-issue flashlight from the beach which he had abandoned at the scene and the flashlight ended up being an important piece of evidence used against Hubbard.
