Genesis Rodriguez

Genesis Rodriguez was conceived in Miami, Florida. She is the daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez the famous Venezuelan actor and singer, and Carolina Perez, a Cuban model. She is half-sister to two other women. She attended the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart, Miami. Rodriguez knew as a child that she wanted to become an actor. She attended summer courses at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and continued to train in acting. After that, she got roles in Spanish language shows like Prisionera (2004), Dame Chocolate (2007) and Dona Barbara (2008). She also appeared on of the hit show "Entourage" (2004). Man on a Ledge (2012) was her first film project. What to Expect When You Expect (2012) is her second. The daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez. Half-sister to Liliana Rodriguez and Lilibeth Morillo. She said on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, 9 January episode, that she was given the name Genesis in honor of the British rock band Genesis. She's from Venezuelan and Cuban descent. Being near the ocean is a wonderful thing. If this acting thing fails I'd simply submit my resume for NBA.com. I'm a huge basketball fan . . . I'll go over all sorts of trash. It's my belief that I'm from an emerging generation of Latinos, bicultural and bilingual. It's evident that I'm not able to take what I want for food or have the appearance I like. It's a matter of working to achieve it. I give credit to Pilates and my parents' good genes. One of the best bonding moments is making your self look silly and then posting it online. I love people who dare to be risky. Risk-taking people on carpets are my favorites. Charlize Thon is one of my favorites. She's sophisticated and chic I believe. I love Zoe Saldana.
